HALF A SIXPENCE – Theatre Trip – 18 May 2017

HALF A SIXPENCE. THURS. 18th May. Noel Coward Theatre. £69

Opening to rave reviews in the West End, Cameron Mackintosh and Chichester Festival Theatre’s award-winning hit musical HALF A SIXPENCE is having nightly standing ovations at the Noël Coward Theatre.

This new stage version of HALF A SIXPENCE is a completely fresh adaptation which reunites book-writer Julian Fellowes (Oscar-winning screenwriter and creator of Downton Abbey) with songwriting duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. The score is inspired by and features several of composer David Heneker’s exhilarating songs from the original production, including ‘Flash Bang Wallop’ and ‘Half A Sixpence’.

You won’t want to miss ‘THE KIND OF WEST END EXPERIENCE THAT COMES ALONG ONCE IN A LIFE TIME’ (Huffington Post).
